"Small Johnson" motor

This powerful little motor is well under half the size of a Mini-EV. And of course, this motor is fully reversible. It also has two 2.5mm mounting holes on the face, which are exactly 25mm apart, as well as a splined shaft which makes mounting a gear to it easy.

This motor can be a great solution for use with the Team Whyachi T-Box. Robert Woodhead has done some extreme testing with this motor that he has documented here.

HTI Replacement motor - no pinion gear

A very powerful little motor! This is the same motor used on the SS2 Gearbox, just without the shaft modification for a pinion gear. This is just the raw motor, it will NOT work on the SS2 gearbox without the shaft modification. We are providing this for customers interested in using this motor with their own custom gearing solution.

A ball bearing supports the shaft on the business end while a built-in centrifugal fan keeps the armature cool. All of this in a rock solid case that needs no end support.

Please note that ALL of our HTI motors are removed from NEW and UNUSED equipment. They may have the appearance of being used, but this is not the case. They will have solder on the terminals, but rest-assured, they are still in new condition.

HG-Series Geared Motor

For years, there has been a void in the realm of conveniently-priced gearmotors for the 12-15 pound robot weight class. Look no further! The HG-series gearmotors are beefy enough for the most demanding 15 pound robots, and possibly even more- yet they won't break your budget! Perfct for directly-attaching your wheels right to the ouput shaft. Available in two different gear ratios, so you can choose either a higher speed 20:1 or a higher torque 62:1 option.

The gearbox has four face-mount threaded holes. Gearbox is offset-shaft, spur gear type, and is sealed, maintenance-free.

These motors are meant to be run at 12V, but we've tested them to run fine up to 24V.

Speed-400 Motor

This is a small, extremly high speed DC motor, quite powerful for it's size. If you want to use this for drive on a bot, you'll need to gear it way down. Because of it's very small size, we do not recommend this motor in robots over 3 pounds unless you engineer a very creative gearing system.

Weight: 2.55 oz
No Load speed: 19,200rpm @ 7.2V
Load speed: 12,700rpm @ 7.2V
approx 8amps max
Kv: 2227
No-load current: 0.720 amps
Stall Current: ~20.16 amps

Stall torque: 12 oz-in @ 7.2V
Diameter: 27.6mm
Length: 38.1mm
Shaft: 2.3mm diameter
Solder Terminals
Buillt-in capacitors

Speed-380 Motor

The Speed 380 comes in the same case size as the Speed 400, but at an even cheaper price.

Unlike the more powerful and faster brushless motors, this motor can use a standard brushed controller such as our Sprite-25.

Weight: 2.55 oz
No Load speed: 17,000rpm @ 7.2V
Load speed: 10,000rpm @ 7.2V
approx 8amps max
No-load current: 0.680 amps
Stall Current: ~19 ampsV
Diameter: 27.6mm
Length: 38.1mm
Shaft: 2.3mm diameter
Solder Terminals

We recommend using the Sprite-25 speed controller for this motor, or the AUX channel of your Ant 150 controller

Speed T-280 Motor

The T-280 Ferrite motor is a small, extremly high speed DC motor, great for a very inexpensive spinning weapon on an antweight. Or, combined with the right geardown system, it would also make a gread drive motor for smaller robots.

Unlike the more powerful and faster brushless motors, this motor can use a standard brushed controller such as our Sprite-25.

Operating Voltage: 7.2-11.1V
Weight: 1.41 oz
No Load speed: 18,900rpm @ 7.2V
Load speed: 13,900rpm @ 7.2V

We recommend using the Sprite-25 speed controller for this motor, or the AUX channel of your Ant 150 controller
