Jim,

I hope you understand the reason I am compelled to write to you under and hopefully with the intention to allow you to understand the reasons behind this message.

As you are aware the current dispute is proving to be taking longer than any of us had hoped. While it is still within the jurisdiction of the courts and final settlements are still being negotiated I would like to ask of you, a favor.

It is in regards to the use of mark Robot Wars mark upon your site and that this may mislead the general public into the assumption that your site may have official backing of the Robot Wars Group. At this point , such a distinction may be blurred and I would ask that you refrain from its use.

Although it is my intention to be open and free with information, I also have to ask you to refrain from publishing the series of letters between the two parties in dispute.

Therefore I trust you will expedite the removal of all mention of the word Robot Wars from your site and the removal of the series of letters at your earliest convenience.

Like many enterprises certain information is confidential and commercially sensitive. At this time many negotiations are going on , and, I think you will agree, a public display of the problems we are having may be detrimental to the Sport and to the Event.

I believe you can understand my position and hope that this keeps us all from wasting significant amounts of time and money and from incurring needless expense.
