These custom-machined and carefully assembled gearboxes are made from high strength Fortal aluminum, have a Titanium output shaft, and are completely battle-tested.

Long retaining screws come in from the brush end, and go all the way through the Ampflow motor to the gearbox backplate. Assembly with your Ampflow motor is easy, you will need to make some simple modifications to the Ampflow motor when installing.

We have used these in the Blender since ver 2 (ver 6 just competed) and haven't looked back since. These gearboxes are phenomenal. Even though they are a little on the expensive side, they are worth every penny. With all the abuse our robots have taken over the years, these have still never broken. The gear ratio of these is just right for a 120 pound robot. As always with any motor and gearbox, make sure you won't be torque stalling it.

Expensive, but worth it

If you need a super-durable and compact way to convert your Magmotor S28-150 to a geared motor, this is definitely the way to go. Everything has that beautiful custom-machined feel and it is ultra-rugged! This thing can really take a beating. It can be a bit hard to set up with a new Magmotor, but once you've done one, additional ones are easy. (I did 6 in a row and finished in a couple hours). You WILL need to modify the end-cap of your Magmotor, drilling holes into this can be a bit daunting for the beginner, but the directions (included) are well explained.
