Both B81 and B82 motors come standard with an electro-magnetic 24v parking brake, which can easily be removed if that function is not necessary. Built for continuous 24 volt 30 amp duty, they can be run at 36 volts for 5 minutes, adding about 50% more speed and torque. This motor comes in either left or right side shaft drive configurations, and makes a great drivetrain for a large robot. B81 is shown here.

MowBot

I purchased the right and left versions of this motor last year for the mowbot I was building and the mowing season was from April thru November. I ran these motors all summer, twice a week on some fairly brutal terrain with my robotic lawnmower and never even had a slight whimper out of them. The only change I'm going to make is to orient the motor housings vertically or diagonally instead of horizontally because the locking levers (which face down) sometimes catch on terrain and lock that motor causing the mowbot to go in circles, ha.
