newest addition to The Machine Lab product line is the MMP-30 mobile platform.
This platform is the result of a conglomeration of input and ideas from people
that are using robots in real life situations. We have gleaned detailed information
from groups&nbsp; ranging from NASA sponsored research teams to Law Enforcement
and SWAT agencies. We have even built several robots for the U.S. military
that are in theater in Iraq right now. </font></p>

The Machine Lab philosophy, this is a bare bones simple but rugged machine
intended to help bring ideas to fruition faster.&nbsp;</font></p>
<p align="left"><font color="00ff66" size="2" face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">The
trend in mobile robotics is to get the machines as light and compact as possible
without limiting their mobility in urban environments. At 30 pounds this
platform is is designed to be a &quot;Man Portable&quot; workhorse.&nbsp; The
machine can easily carry 20 pounds of payload and has plenty of space to
be outfitted with cameras, sensors, computers, tools, test equipment, supplies,
etc.</font></p>
<p align="left"><font color="00ff66" size="2" face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">The MMP-30
has a water resistant aluminum hard anodized chassis. All drive train components
are precision machined and all metal with long life ball bearings in critical
areas.</font></p>

Lab has already outfitted several these platforms for a range of custom applications.

come assembled/wired and ready to run. There is a main power switch and charge
jack. All that is needed is a control signal and a <a href="battery_chargers_nicad_nimh.html" target="_top">battery
