This is truly the smallest gearmotor we've found, and it is top quality.

High quality all-metal gears in this 50:1 model. The entire motor with gears weighs only .3 ounces! They are rated for 5.0V DC, but we have tested and run them at 9.0V, even up to 12V. Tires can be directly mounted to the 3 mm diameter output shaft.

With these motors we will see a new evolution of tiny bots. YES, the prop adapter and aluminum hubs we sell will fit on these motors!

Micro Geared 50:1

Great overall motor and a good spread of gear ratios by the company. I've used these motoers in nearly all my ants and fairies after I found that copals stripped out. I highly sugguest if you buy these that you make a motor mount to cover the exposed gears or buy jimbo's mount kit. Also I wish they made these in planetary style.

tough little motors

i've purchased a couple of these little motors and have had great results. But ya need to cover the gears from any debri! shrink tubing works well for this. the Sanyo's pushed my robot to bronze metal in 07'

These motors are nice. They are super small and are very slick. The gearboxese are hecka cool and they run well. You NEED to break these motors in though, I destroyed 4 of them by forgetting to do that.

Great motors, I use 2 of these in my fairyweight @ 7.4v to great success. They are solidly built motors, and a perfect weight for any fairy with an active weapon.

Overall, these motors are a great value for both their price and weight. I used four for drive in my lifter ant Misdirected Pedestrian, and with the Ultra-Light wheels I've had no problem pushing most robots around. Although fragile when compared to Maxons, Copals and the like, they are amazingly durable for their size. The only obvious weakness the gearboxes have is that they are exposed, but that isn't an issue if the gearmotors are protected properly.
