A bit big, but very solid

This switch is SUPER durable and reliable. This is the REAL Hella, not a cheap knock-off like there are so many of. I've never broken one of these in any of my robots that have used them. I modify it usually by cutting the tall key housing down a bit, then mount using the two large holes through an aluminum bracket, leaving only the top of the key housing extending out the top of my robot. From there, I cut the handle of the key off, thread in a machine screw, add a ring terminal on a string, and I have just a nub of a key sticking out that I can turn on and off with a t-handle hex tool, and I won't lose the key when its off because it hangs by the string. Works for me! One thing you might want to do is support the back end somehow. I've seen other similar switches fall apart because of the inertia of impacts knocking the entire back end (with the terminals) off. I worry about this with Hella, but its never happened to me, so I play it safe and support the terminal end so hard hits don't knock it out of place.
