The
Spektrum DX6i does away with all that 72Mhz/75Mhz mess and moves
on to a whole NEW band- 2.4Ghz! This Digital Spread Spectrum radio system
is the biggest breakthrough in R/C technology since digital proportional
control.
This is the Mode-2 Right Hand Elevator and Left Hand Throttle
version. If you are not sure which model to get, most U.S. customers choose Mode 2, while in some foreign countries, Mode 1 is more standard. Left-handed drivers may also prefer a Mode 1 radio.
Glitching
and range impairment from motor, servo, ESC and mechanical RF “noise” will
be a thing of the past. And no form of channel selection will be
necessary on your part. Your DX6i selects the channel for you. When
you fire up your DX6i, it searches for, selects and locks onto clear
channels. (There are 80 channels in the 2.4GHz band.) And because
international regulation of the band is very strict, your radio will
neither sustain interference from – nor cause interference
to – any
other 2.4GHz device worldwide. And that applies, of course, to its
simultaneous operation near other 2.4GHz RC radios as well. DX6i
frequencies are so much higher than those of conventional RC channels
that you radio won’t even recognize the existence of 27,50,
72 or 75MHz RC signals. Nor will conventional RC receivers “hear” your
DX6i transmissions.In short, 2.4GHz DSM RC is a win-win deal for everyone!
The
6-channel DX6i uses the same full-range DSM2ª technology found in
the Spektrum DX7 and includes an impressive list of programming features
for both airplanes and helicopters that are simple to access and
use. You can choose to get the new AR6200 DSM2 6-channel receiver
when you purchase the DX6i. The AR6200 is robust enough to use
in large models yet compact enough fit in many park flyers. The DX6i
is also compatible with all existing Spektrum aircraft receivers.
Whatever kind of flying you do, the DX6i can be adapted to most any
model in your existing collection that requires 6-channels or less.
The tiny receiver with big-time performance.
The DX6i comes with the option of choosing the
new AR6200
receiver,
which is
specifically designed for small, very light size. Better yet, it’ll
deliver reliable range exceeding that of any other receiver you'll
find! ATTENTION Robot Builders- the
AR6200 receiver does NOT failsafe on all channels, if you are going
to use this radio in robot competitions, it will be necessary to
select a BR6000
receiver receiver. The BR6000
receiver has failsafe on ALL channels, making it legal for use
in BattleBots and other robotic combat tournaments.
