From GWS comes this entirely new concept transmitter. Designed to look and feel like a video game controller, this transmitter maintains full fuctionality and compatibility with all GWS servos. This is the robot version, both sticks spring center.

Please note that you MUST purchase a GWS R-4S 2.4GHz 4-Channel Receiver to work with this transmitter. No other receiver will work with it.

Does not failsafe to zero, so may not be legal for combat robotic use.

Good Receiver/Transmitter set

I bought this set for my battlebot, and so far it works great. It is better than I thought it would be after seeing the picture, and I think that its really good so far.

Too delicate

my robot took a small fall and the receiver failed to function afterward. Otherwise, though, it worked great.

I was impressed with this cheap little controller. The cost along with the reciever was a great value. Does what it says and it's a no brainer to set up. Great Product.

Its decent.

This is a cheap alternative to the other options, and it is functional. However, only use it in insects, as the failsafe rules in those classes are softer.

Not for combat...

The Tx/Rx combo comes bound from the factory, and takes only about a second to show ready. It responds very well on the drive channels, but unfortunately it does not failsafe on 3 of 4 channels, so my drive motors held the full % when I tested turning it off. The manual says this, must read all print.

I PURCHASED THE GWS 2.4GHz 4-Channel GP Transmitter System FOR MY REMOTE MOWER. THE TRANSMITTER WORKS GREAT FOR WHAT IT IS DESIGNED FOR, BUT SINCE THE LEFT JOY STICK DOES NOT CENTER IT CAN BE DANGEROUSE WITH A REMOTE MOWER WHEN YOU TURN THE SYSTEM ON IF THE JOYSTICK IS NOT CENTERED..
