The GWS A-4 Electric Ducted Fan (EDF) is sure to delight the intermediate park pilot and the veteran that
wants a reliable and attractive Sunday flyer. With a 30.3" (770mm) wingspan and an overall length of 43.3" (1100mm) the A-4 is larger than most electric jets in its class. With an all-white Polystyrene four piece fuselage, this Almost-Ready-to-Fly assembles quickly and allows easy access to its interior, aiding the installation of the power system and avionics. The A-4 boasts the included .08" (2mm) wire gear with two 2" (51mm) light-weight main foam wheels and a 1.5" (38mm) front nose wheel. In addition to decals, a clear canopy and a generous hardware package, the A-4 comes with an EDF75 Fan Unit and brushless motor delivering 800-900g maximum thrust. While capable of many basic aerobatics like inverted flight, quick rolls and loops, the A-4 performs well on the ground too. Taxi, takeoff and landings are easy for the A-4 on most hard surfaces such as short grass, dirt and paved runways.
