These motors are amazing!!!!!!!!!! i bought a couple just cuz they were cheap, and they became my fav motors. these have insane speed and decent torque. i used one for my spinner weapon in a 2 kilo robot, and the results were incredible. it breaks aluminum given about ten seconds to reach top speed. the one issue with these motors is that they suck up electricity reallyy fast. my batteries run out after only about half an hour of running the weapon.

Motor was ideal for my use however to fit my gear the shaft would have better with an extra 5mm [1/4"} length

terrible motor

not sure if the motor is defective but it needs to be turned by hand to get it started. It isn't powerful at all.

motor for mi kid

This Duratrax 550 is the best replacement motor I've found. After purchasing a lot of motors online from various companies, This motor is the only one that performed as good or better than the original.just take the pinion put a new and your kid is ready to take a good ride.

Pretty close match to my Kawasaki PW motors

Let me start by saying I'm very happy with these motors in the Kawasaki PW.
High gear is a brisk jog to keep up with. Runs about 45 min on a 12v UPS battery.

The only problem I had installing these was the shaft diameter.. the PW gear was slightly larger then the new shaft..it wouldn't press on.. it just slid on and off..

Not a big deal though.. I drilled out 2 holes on each side of the PW gear at the base and threaded it for an allan key screw with some thread lock. I also used my dremel on the shaft to give it a very slight flat spot to help prevent the gear from slipping.

These motors are very solid and fit everything else perfectly.

Nitro Revo gone Electric

I decided to do a nirto to electric conversion with a two speed nitro revo!
I have two speeds and i have almost 3/4 of the origional speed! After i was told it would NOT work... im using a 15/54 pinion and spur, GREAT motor FANTASTIC!!! runs cool AND STRONG
14.4V system,@ 6.6 amps SYREN Motor driver and Spektrum 2.4 g BR6000

This was one of the best finds for us when we were building our 3lb bot. It is has high rpm, but it also is very powerful. Even though it seemed like it would be a little too heavy for a 3lb bot, the power it has makes up for the loss of weight.

Perfect PW Replacement Motors

If you have the daunting task of finding a replacement motor for your childs burnt up Powrwheel motor, Look no further. This Duratrax 550 is the best replacement motor I've found. After purchasing several motors online from various companies, This motor is the only one that performed as good or better than the original as well as mounted to the original holes. PW does not like companies to sell replacement motors for their ride on toys, which is why I was hesitant to expose this match, PW has a way of pressuring companies not to sell replacement motors , I don't know how, but I really hope the Robot Marketplace does not become subject to this pressure. This motor is a PERFECT match and actually gave my sons PW a little bit better performance than the original motor which burnned up in a month after converting from 6 to 18 volts. I have in now, have been running for three months on 18V and still going strong! I suggest buying a bunch of them in case Robot Market Place mysteriously discontinue them, you will have a good supply. Keep in mind they don't come with a gear on them so you will need to get that from somewhere else to use with your PW.
